The busk-o-matic 5000

One event that our district ran regularly was one called "Rotavision"

I managed to miss all 4 events to illness, personal issues, work etc.I'm no longer in rotaract, although there are plans to perhaps start a rotary club. I suspect that I'm subconsciously trying to recreate what I missed, but that's another story.

anyway, at Banbury a couple of years back we had karaoke, and when one of the Rotarians started singing, someone put out a bucket and asked for donations for it to stop.

This is when I got an idea for the busk-o-matic 5000. I envisioned a machine where you could vote for an act with money. A pair of coin mechanisms would count the money, and would cut off the music if the singer had too many negative votes.

It could also keep a tally of who had the most number of positive votes, most money raised etc, and award prizes.

I have all the parts and am going to start building this tomorrow.

If anyone wants to run a karaoke event in the future, I'd be happy to trial it at their event!
